RVGard Warranty Overview And Terms
All warranty must be registered within 30 days of application of the product
RVGard Ceramic Exterior Coating protects RV surfaces, including panels, cladding, fibreglass. The Interior Coating covers soft furnishings such as leather and fabric.
EXTERIOR EXCLUSIONS
This warranty is void if:
- Damage to RV paintwork from collision, stone chips, rust, scratches, delamination, vandalism, abrasions, or contact with acids, dyes, oil-based paints, bleach, ammonia products, or similar substances.
- Swirl marks, wash-induced webbing, surface scratches resulting from abrasive RV cleaning methods and clear coat feraling.
- RV panels that have undergone modification, repainting, or replacement without subsequent reapplication of the product.
- Paint defects caused by RV panel repairs.
- Exterior surface defects from manufacturing, such as fading or oxidation.
- Roof and access hatches, chassis, decals, awnings, hot water, and electrical covers.
- RV areas altered after product application. Damage to RV paintwork from polishing or buffing.
- Damage to RV paint caused by cleaning with non-PH neutral agents (e.g., solvents, degreasers, or truck wash).
- Damage to RV paintwork resulting from inadequate care of the treated surface, poor maintenance or neglect.
- The accumulation of minerals resulting from water evaporation and surface runoff.
- While we service the roof to address the unique maintenance challenges it presents compared to the rest of the RV, we are unable to provide a warranty for the roof, which is defined as the horizontal surface. However, warranties do apply to both front and rear rolls.
INTERIOR EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not apply if:
- Fabric is exposed to acids, caustics, oils, bleach, dyes, and other solvents.
- The stain or discolouration appears to result from issues related to the manufacturing process and/or installation of the caravan.
- The stain or damage resulted from burns caused by cigars or cigarettes.
- Treated fabrics may have had stains or soiling before treatment, and we cannot guarantee removal of existing stains.
- The fabric is damaged by ripping, tearing, stretching, vandalism, neglect, alteration, or normal wear and tear.
To maintain warranty eligibility:
- Clean the RV as per our Terms and Condition using an approved PH neutral shampoo regularly (every 4 - 6 weeks). Remove tree saps and bat/bird dropping within 48 hours.
- Submit annual inspection photos to info@rvgard.com.au, quoting your warranty number.
- Claims must be lodged online, within 72 hours after noticing any issues that may lead to a claim.
- Failure to follow terms voids the warranty.
- Have read and understand the care instructions and full terms and conditions.
Making a Claim
Claims should be submitted via www.rvgard.com.au. Claimants are responsible for all associated expenses, including transportation of the RV.
The liability of RVGard Warranty is limited to $3,000 for cleaning, repairs, or compensation within the warranty period.
